If it’s working the volume slider handle should turn red like this (you can comment out the line changing it if you prefer, any errors get logged to the console anyway)

Made a quick userscript to remove YouTube’s volume normalization. I haven’t done much with userscripts before so if there’s any issues let me know and I’ll see what I can do. Only works w/ the new YT interface, tested with Tampermonkey https://gist.github.com/stysmmaker/aa6b988e10880e08d6c01989fab84665

Did a little write-up on how the recent #OctagonCollab came to be. It’s moreso just a list of events but there’s a few interesting details in it that haven’t been mentioned otherwise. Feel free to take a look! https://mmaker.pw/2019/10/the-glorious-octagon-of-destiny-timeline/

The free version of Kontakt (called Kontakt Player) doesn’t have any instrument editing tools, only playback of existing ones, so you’d need to get the full version in order to do anything really

Yeah that’s it, applied the pin points on a precomp w/ a solid then just removed the solid

mmm I gotcha. I think I bypassed the alpha issue since I started with a solid comp and then made it contain alpha? Maybe you mean the opposite, or I’m misunderstanding lol, but yeah regardless the tool always has been kinda iffy like that
(original)

Can agree there, it creates a lot of unnecessary triangulation for this so I think that’s what slows it down too

Yeah, you could theoretically get to that point but it’d definitely be more tedious then, my track was only around 20 points, the plugin’s tracking tool creates way more than that and it has some useful workflow tricks AE doesn’t have natively
(original)
-

This is what you mean right? (Track isn’t completely perfect obv since this was my first time trying this)
Just have to “invert” the expression on the puppet pins and that’ll get it(original)
-
Replying to @DariusSheeno
Yea, just havin fun figuring out how stuff works. It is fairly automated too, create track data and apply the expression(s), essentially same steps you’d take w/ plugin assistance. The plugin does have a much better point tracker and runs a bit faster from what I’ve seen though

Saw that cool Lockdown plugin that was released recently and realized it’s actually really easy to recreate in stock AE if you wanted to, this example just used the default point tracker and puppet pin tool tied together with expressions, nothin else
