I’ve always found it more tedious because I have to get Echospace working exactly how I want, whereas expressions I know what I want so I just do the one thing I need to do. Echospace is really an expression “wrapper,” it’s doing the same thing, probably just not used to using it

That second expression basically is taking the Y position of the below layer (index+1), and adding a set value to it (from the slider effect on the camera null layer). Also I used Y position instead of Z and I have no clue why

Actually did it a little differently than I thought: there’s a comp of 2 cats (separated by 180°) spinning around the center, and then in the main comp they’re offset in z space. The time for each is offset with time remapping, so I must’ve used the sequence layers command.

Didn’t actually use Echospace for that but the same concept applies. The cat sprite is offset from the center but the anchor point is placed at the center, then the layer is duplicated a bunch of times while the rotation is automatically offset for each one.
