Personal recommendation would be getting a new PC / building one, you can get the latest and greatest stuff and it’s much more worth the investment.

If these are the specs (https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01154945), it’s basically impossible to get a graphics card for it because of the power supply (most low profile cards recommend 300w, the PC itself has only 160w). Even if it were compatible, it would be a very outdated card.

What functionality is there in Vegas you would need to learn in AE? I would love to make a transfer guide of sorts, but I never used Vegas that much, so I may not know what’s most important to everyone, or what tricks/plugins people use in Vegas to achieve some effects.

No prob! Always makes a comfy working res + high quality YouTube output feasible. Would also highly suggest looking into rendering it as a PNG/TIFF sequence before rendering to 4k to retain maximum quality (if you care about that)
